The Leigh's Legacy Foundation was started, in partnership with Strategies Against Violence Everywhere (SAVE), by the family of Leigh LaCour Belyn upon her tragic death at the hands of an ex-boyfriend in August 2011. Leigh was just 18 years old.
With Leigh Legacy’s the life of this spirited young woman with a bright smile and even brighter future will continue to positively impact others by educating adults and youth about the signs of teen dating violence, and actions to take if you or some young person you know is in an unsafe and abusive relationship.
