Committees will be forming for the 2013 SAVE Awards,
SAVE's major annual fundraising event. Volunteer are needed for the
steering committee, marketing and PR, sponsor and ticket sales,
reception and ceremony. Committee's will begin meeting in the early Fall of
2012 with the anticipated event date of May 2013. For more information

Make SAVE the Cause for Your Holiday Party
Make
your holiday party even more special by making it about creating
peace. SAVE will provide your all the information you need on how to
incorporate a gift of peace in your holiday party for a cause. Sweetest Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, New Years or any day that is important to you, it is always
a great reason to have fun, be with the ones you love, care about and
appreciate. Raise money to prevent violence, create peace and develop

Board and Advisory Committee Volunteers
Volunteers needed to serve in a governing capacity on the Board of
Directors. The Board meets monthly, is SAVE's governing body and key strategist for furthering SAVE's mission. For more Board information.

Speakers to Share With Teens Your Stories About Education, Decision Making and Career Paths
Speakers are needed to teach and help teens learn how to achieve their goals, tap into their talents and abilities, and consider their personality, level of determination and preparedness when choosing a career path. Speakers must have a desire to be open and honest, teach (not preach) and a genuine desire to help. Adults are needed from a variety of careers (retail, health, medicine, dental, construction, trades, business owners, human resources, beauty trades, environment, arts, technology, call centers, real estate, law, nonprofit, social work, education, transportation, management, secretarial, IT, etc. ) and education levels (high school grad, high school GED, Certificate Programs, Associates, Bachelors, Masters and Doctorates). Adults who come from Columbus City Schools or from another large urban district are a plus but not required. Email christine_@saveforyouth.org if you are interested in this volunteer opportunity.
